Welcome to explore the activities of the berry farm. Farm tours led by the farm staff at 10:30, 12:30, and 14:00. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the cultivation of organic berries, bees, the wild herb area, organic grain farming, and of course, the farm animals: Curly-coated native chickens, Finnish sheep, and native cats. The ice cream kiosk offers delicious berry-flavored organic ice cream servings, and the café is available for dining and enjoying coffee.

Hakola Berry Farm
Hakola Berry Farm in Tanttala, Janakkala, is one of the few organic berry farms in Häme. At Hakola, the main crops are raspberries, currants, and gooseberries. In addition, the farm grows strawberries, chokeberries, sea buckthorn, apples, pears, plums, even cherries, saskatoons, and quince. The farm also grows its grains organically: rye, wheat, and oats. The organic farm also ensures a bountiful harvest of wild herbs. The farm’s own bees take care of efficient pollination while also producing honey.
